Product Description
Introduce your students to the process of scientific experimentation with this simple science lesson. In this lesson, the students will predict what will happen when a glass covered with cardboard is tipped over, learn the meaning of a hypothesis by watching a video (website link), make a hypothesis, graph their hypothesis, observe the experiment (and/or watch a youtube video of the experiment if you are unable to demonstrate it in your classroom), and learn why the water did not fall out of the glass (a very simple explanation about air pressure for young students). Two student printables are included for recording and responding to the lesson. A teacher's notes page explains how to use each page. Lisa Rombach
