In this quick project, students use introductory expressions to create a dialogue in the format of a comic strip. Students also have the opportunity to show the cultural difference between formal and informal address.
Included in this download are a project sheet as well as a grading rubric. In the past I have given students the choice between using a template or designing their own comic strip.
This assignment has been used as an assessment but also can be adapted for a homework assignment or even sub work.
