this experiment titrates a known concentration of sulfuric acid to find an unknown concentration of sodium hydroxide.
i use to be very precise in creating the solutions in this experiment, now i just make up whatever concentrations i feel like. lol. don't waste your time trying to be accurate. in fact, don't even use sulfuric acid - use whatever you have. i usually use hydrochoric acid but them the class it is sulfuric. i tell them it is sulfuric so when they do the mole ratio, it comes out to as 2:1. this lets me see if they are completing the calculation correctly.
