PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this activity, students act the role of journalists covering the United States' entry into WWI!

Students will read an excerpt from President Woodrow Wilson's war message delivered on April 2, 1917 as well as excerpts from the opposition. They will take notes in the provided comparison chart, and will then draft a short newspaper article alerting the public about President Wilson's decision. Students may draw from previous knowledge of the causes behind the end of U.S. neutrality.
