How would I use these in class?
There are various ways to use Task Cards: they can be used in games; used as an individual activity; for extension purposes; in paired work or as a group activity.

A way in which I use them: I arrange my classroom into groups and place a set of task cards within each group. Students then rotate the cards amongst their group, filling in the individual answers on their recording sheets.
Another idea: Keep the Task Cards in a Ziploc bag pinned on the wall somewhere. Then whenever students finish work early, they go and grab a couple and fill in their table (which they keep permanently in their books).
Another idea:Play a game – put students in teams with a set of task cards on team table; students race to complete and find textual evidence.
