If you're teaching To Kill a Mockingbird in your English/Language Arts class, you need a copy of Humanities Hub's To Kill a Mockingbird Chapter Comprehension Questions & Vocab w/ Answer Key.
Just a head's up- if you're seeking TKAM comprehension questions without the vocab, check out our other listing, To Kill a Mockingbird Chapter-by-Chapter Comprehension Questions & Answer Key
This 40 page bundle includes thought-provoking reading questions for every chapter of the book AND the teacher answer key. It also includes vocabulary for every chapter. Before reading the chapters, students are challenged to determine a word's meaning by reading it in the context of the novel. Then, you can later provide them with the actual definition (answer key included).
The student packet is 20 pages; the teacher key packet is 20 pages. Just print off copies of the student packet and have students complete chapter-by-chapter questions and vocab as they read the novel. As you go over the questions and vocab and discuss the novel in class, you'll have the answer key right there!
This is a terrific resource for whole-class novel study or for literature circles. We used this resource with our 8th graders and it was a great way for them to practice active reading, determine word meaning in context, recall the events of each chapter, start discussions in class and study for their end-of-novel test. We hope you like it. Let us know your success stories!
