This is a traditional Close Reading assessment. Students' prior knowledge of the book is NOT necessary as it is a skills assessment. It can, however, also work alongside a study of the novel.
This product adapts passages from Chapter 10 of Lee's novel to assess both reading comprehension and analytical thinking.
This could be used as a benchmark for student reading ability or as a stand alone assessment to gauge reading ability.
