*NOTE: This graphic organizer is part of the study guide that is for sale through my store.
Before reading "To Kill a Mockingbird," I ask students to list all of the qualities that make someone a "good person." This may include strength, bravery, joy, empathy, charity, friendliness, and so on. That list is separate from this graphic organizer. We then assign one term to each box.
As we read the book, we add examples of each character trait from the book to our chart. However, this could be used by chapter, too, with each section of the chart serving as a place to summarize the traits on display in each reading assignment.
The center of the graphic organizer is left empty because the copies I distribute to my students have a drawing/photograph of Atticus Finch in the center. The image has been left out of this item for copyright reasons.
