Product Description
Looking for a fun introductory activity to To Kill a Mockingbird that creates movement within the classroom and integrates technology? If so, then look no further! I created station activities last year when I added flexible seating in my classroom. I wanted activities that got my students moving! This introductory activity includes stations over:
-Jim Crow Laws
-Roles of Women in 1930s
-Perspective Change
-The Great Depression
-"Strange Fruit" by Billie Holiday
-Harper Lee and To Kill a Mockingbird Summary
I've provided links to my Google Slides and a printable pdf in case you don't have access/opportunity for Google Slides.
Students can rotate through each of the stations, read through the material, watch the videos, listen to the audio files, and then complete tasks. The tasks include questions to ensure the students understand the material. Then, you can spend time in whole class discussion over the stations.
