I LOVE incorporating "stand where you stand" (aka vote on your feet) activities with my students before we begin reading a new piece of literature in my class. During this "stand where you stand" activity, students are asked to vote on their feet, unaware, at the time, of the conversations being had surrounding theme before we have even begun reading :). I also have students reflect on their "stand where you stand" in-class activity. However, reflection questions are not included, but can be found on my page :).
I hope this is a valuable addition to your classroom.
