This reading comprehension worksheet directs your students in tracking the direct and cross examinations of the witnesses during the trial scene in "To Kill a Mockingbird." It not only reveals to them the purpose behind the witness examination process, but also allow them to theorize which attorney did the better job and why. It's a simple resources that compliments both the novel and the film, and allows for generous class discussion regarding the topic of criminal trials. It worked well in my classroom, and I hope it works in yours!
