This little puzzle will be a nice introduction to Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. The student/doer is asked to find 18 of the "more southern" words/expressions (brief definitions ARE given by the words/expressions ) used in To Kill a Mockingbird. It is a typical word search, in a way . . . but after the student/doer finds the 18 words/expressions if the puzzle-doer arranges the uncrossed out letters in order they will be rewarded with a "secret message" that we should all remember.
