Pathway 2 Success

Use this tolerance and acceptance pledge as a lesson and activity to help kids become more tolerant, accepting, and understanding of those who are different from them.

The resource contains a lesson plan with discussion starters and ideas to talk about while introducing the idea of tolerance and acceptance. Students will then color their tolerance and acceptance pledges.

The two pledges in the lesson state:
• I pledge to be open-minded and willing to learn from those who are different from me.
• I pledge to be tolerant, accepting, and understanding of those who are different from me.
