Pg. 11-13 Personal Narrative Postcard – write a postcard to a friend telling them about a cool place you once visited - copy pages A and B back to back – illustrate the front of your postcard to go with your writing
Pg. 14-15 Let’s Make Contractions! - copy pages A and B back to back, fold on the solid lines, cut on the dotted lines, lift the flaps and write the contraction that matches the two words on the flaps

Pg. 18-23 We Love Books! – It’s your chance to write a book and illustrate it, cut out the construction paper hearts, layer the hearts, add the pocket gluing only the sides and bottom, add your book to the pocket and hang it up!
Pg. 24-26 Details and Conclusion! – write three details on the library books, write the conclusion on the pocket, glue the sides and bottom of the pocket to the backpack, put the library books into the pocket
Pg. 27-32 Let’s Go to the Library! – a game to practice your High-Frequency Words – read the words on the book cards correctly to move forward one space, if you read it incorrectly you lose a turn, certain spaces on the board will tell you to move forward or backward – the winner reaches the library first
