Description

These are three reference sheets I laminate and always have handy for my students when we're doing any type of rhetorical analysis.

They include lists of all of the most common adjectives used to describe tone, diction, and syntax, as well as explanations and examples of what each word means. For example, if the reference sheet describes "balanced syntax," it also gives a sample sentence of balanced syntax, as well as an explanation of what the effect is on the reader.
