I tape this on my students' desks as we get closer to testing in the spring. We analyze poems and students can easily reference their list to use more accurate vocabulary when talking about tone. It's chunked out by positive, negative, and neutral to help students break down the process of determining the tone by first deciding the connotation.
When I first put them on the desks, I have to tell students to reference it. Eventually though they get used to it and start looking at it on their own and using the words in conversation with each other in class!
