Tongue Twister Game:
Object: To gain the most points before the first person gets to the finish line.
a. Player that get to the finish line first does not automatically win.
It just ends the game.
b. When the game ends students count up their points to see who wins.
c. Player with the most points wins.
How to win points: Points are awarded only when a player pulls a card and reads it correctly.
Option: a. Say it quickly two times. (like a regular tongue twister)
b. Speaking clearly and concisely without making any mistakes in pronunciation.
Take A Card Space: Player gets to take a card and must read it correctly without any mistakes.
Time Machine Space: Player must pull a card and read it correctly.
Correct: Win one point and a free roll. This is a free roll so player doesn’t have to play the space he or she lands on. (Going into the future.)
Wrong: The player must go back to his or her last space. (Going back into the past.)
Turn Space/ Short Cut Space: a. If player lands on one of these spaces they must take the short cut
or must follow the arrow.
b. If they do not land on the space. Player just passes it.
Scream: When player pulls this card they must scream as loud as they can.
a. If they scare someone than the player wins one point.
b. If no one is scared player loses one point.
Rock, Paper, Scissors Card: Player picks the any student he or she wants (if they don’t want to pick
he or she can pick the player on the left)
a. Wins: takes one point from the loser.
b. Lose: Give one point from the winner.
Moo, Moo, Moo Card: Player (#1) must choose any player (#2) he or she wants and must look him or her in the eyes and try to make the other player laugh..
a. Player #1 makes player #2 laugh. Player #1 takes one point from player #2.
b. Player #2 doesn’t laugh . Player #1 wins no points
c. Both players laugh. Both players lose one point.
d. Both players don’t laugh. Both players win one point.

Note1: I found that you could also give the student that gets to finish first 2 points.
Note2: Use thicker Paper.
Note3: Take out cards you feel are too hard for your students level.
Note4; You will need to print 9 background cards sheets.
** This game takes a lot of time to make but my students beg me to play.. during their break time.
