This product contains 24 sentences that provide practice in discerning when to use too, and when to use enough. There are three different ways to use the sentences:
1. Scoot—print, laminate, and cut the cards; then have students record their answers on the provided recording sheet
2. Cover Up—use the cards and the game board on pg. 2; you will need 1 game board and set of cards per two students and two sets of tokens (about 12 of each color) that are not provided (I used milk jug lids)
To play: the first student takes a card, reads the sentence aloud, and decides which word belongs in the blank; if he/she is correct, he/she covers one of the corresponding squares; Student 2 then takes a turn; the first student to get four in formation (straight line, square, four corners) is the winner
3. Board game—use the cards and the game board on pg 3; you will need 1 game board and set of cards per 4 students, a token for each student (not included), and a number cube for each group (not included)
To Play: the first student takes a card, reads the sentence aloud, and decides which word belongs in the blank; if he/she is correct, he/she rolls the number cube and moves his/her piece; play continues until one student reaches finish
