The tooth fairy is in town because so many kids are losing their baby teeth. If you pick a card with coins, you get to draw again, but don’t grab the card with the missing tooth or you lose a card! If you snag the card with the kids who just lost a tooth, you get to steal a card from another player. The person to collect the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
Print up cards on cardstock and laminate for durability. Cut out and place face down on the table. Students pick up a card and practice their target sound in words or sentences. Included in this game are words with sounds in initial, medial and final position for /k,g/, /f,v/, l-blends, /l/, /s-blends/, /voice th/, /voiceless th/, & /sh,ch/.
Page 3: print as many sheets as you want in your cardstock pile.
Pages 4-41: card sheets for different sounds. I usually add 2-3 sets of sounds in the pile for my kids who are working on different sounds or need to generalize many sounds at the sentence level.
