I know my little ones are always SO excited when they loose a tooth and always eager to share the news. As a teacher, it’s important to build relationships and connections with students and recognize these life events in their lives. What better way then to make a classroom connection?! So, with that in mind I created his file of Toothy Rhythm Activities to celebrate this very important childhood event!
Included in this file:
** Find the Lost Tooth Game- 2 versions of this aural decoding game in which students hear a rhythmic pattern and must decode which pattern they hear. One version is written with note heads and one is written in stick notation without note heads.
** Toothy Rhythms- 2 versions of this reading practice activity in which students read the rhythm that they Tooth Fairy left under their pillow. One version is written with note heads and one in stick notation without note heads.
** Find the Lost Tooth Assessment- 2 versions of this aural decoding activity that can double as an assessment. These can be used in conjunction with two of the Assessment worksheets. One version is with note heads and one is with out.
** Find the Lost Tooth Assessment sheets- 6 different assessment sheets and each are available in stick notation with and without note heads. Included are 2 aural decoding worksheets and worksheets for composition, error dictation, dictation and fill in the blanks.
