Peer recognition is a powerful tool and an essential component for advancing PBIS by addressing staff climate. Tootling has grown out of the concept of positive peer reporting. Tootling is similar to tattling as it involves peers reporting on other peers’ behavior, except that tootles focus on positive behaviors others observe. Set-up a staff tootling program to increase peer recognition. This document includes instructions for setting up a school staff tootling program, two different tootle templates, a blank graph for graphing results and a tootling sign.
