This graphing activity is designed for use in a whole group setting but can be adapted for your own purposes. All you need is a box of Froot Loops or a big bag of Frootie Tooties. You give every child a ziploc bag of different colored froot loops with different amounts in each bag. The children sort the loops into colors and collect data on their recording pages. There is also a challenge activity where the students go around and ask their classmates about their favorite color frooty tooty. Then they graph the results themselves.
As a culminating activity you can make a large class graph with the included colored loops. At the end, they can of course gobble up their cereal!!
