This is a review activity that I created for my students. They are going to fill these out one afternoon with their personal top 10s for each unit in social studies and in science. Once they complete this, they are going to break up into groups and share what they wrote. After sharing (and discussing...Great debates will happen!!), they will create a group Top 10 for each unit. This will help them zone back in on the important items we spoke about for each unit (and to remember those items they completely forgot!! :-) )
For remediation or time, you could hand each person ONE page to complete. After they complete that page, they could get together with the students who also received that same page to share and create their top 10 final list. Then, you could create groups where all pages are represented (similar to the jigsaw method where the expert groups break apart to share their information with others.). This way, every student will hear about each unit but will only have to work on one page.
Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Thank you!
