Here's a PowerPoint I had on my Film and Novel Website as a Google Presentation. It was kind of cool to have it running in the background as I taught. It's based on the AFI top 100 films list. I usually discussed about the top 15 or so by the end of the semester, but I thought it was useful for students to see stills from as many as I could find the time to put together, and that would be 65. If you finish the project, please make it available to everyone on TpT.
While I spent a few hours creating this and finding the best image for each slide, I can't say I did a lot to make it educational or my own, so I'm offering it free. However, please feel free to buy something from the Educabana store if you appreciate the effort.
I did not add titles to each slide because I wanted the students to wonder. And guess. See how many you can name from the image alone. Use it with staff as part of a day when you talk about common knowledge (cultural literacy) or the Great Works of the Western World, if anyone still talks about that kind of stuff.
Here's the Google Drive link in case you'd like to make a copy and edit or embed on your site, too.
