Use google slides and google forms to teach your second graders RI.2.2 Topic, Main Idea, and Details. This product is compatible with google classroom, google slides, and google forms. I have also included a PowerPoint version of the google slides presentation. (Assessment is only available in forms.)
• Slides review what topic, main idea, and details are and how to identify them in a passage.
• Three interactive puzzles with movable pieces to help illustrate an analogy
• Six short reading passages, each one paragraph long, with corresponding short response and multiple-choice questions.
Students are also able to highlight text evidence digitally.
•Writing activity
In this product you will also receive the link to a google forms quiz. This makes assessing your students quick and easy!
The google slides or PowerPoint portion can be used as a mini lesson and guided practice or for individual students who need reteaching and extra practice.
