Pg. 7 Roll and Spell! - roll the dice to see how many times to write each spelling word
Pg. 8-10 My Comprehension Flip It! – copy pages A and B back to back, fold on the solid line and cut on the dotted lines – answer the questions and illustrate
Pg. 11-15 Homophones! Write It! Draw It! Copy the pages back to back to form a book – staple it in the middle -take your spelling words and use them in a sentence to show their meaning – illustrate each sentence
Pg. 16-18 Tops and Bottoms Theme – the important message – cut out the garden bag, cut out the handles on the dotted lines, fold in the middle, glue on the sides to form the bag – write three details on each garden tool card, write the theme on the outside of the bag, cut out the detail cards and place them in the garden bag
Pg. 19-20 I said, “Let’s write some quotations!” – a foldable book – see images – fold paper with a hamburger fold – cut on the dotted line – fold paper with a hot dog fold – push together to form a diamond opening in the middle- carefully crease and fold on each line to form the book – write two quotes for Bear and two quotes from Rabbit from the story – add a quote from two friends and from your teacher – make sure to use quotations and commas correctly
Pg. 21-23 Let’s help Rabbit plant some –er and –le words! – copy pages A and B back to back – fold on the solid lines – write your words – you can look in the story or in other books for examples

Pg. 25-33 I Learned a Lesson When … - a time to write about yourself and relate to the story – you can even compare yourself to Bear!
