This K-1 math game will keep your students busy having fun! They simply toss counters onto a small piece of paper and record how many are on and off the page.
There are four different ways to do this center and it gets more rigorous over time! It starts off easy, with students simply recording the numbers. The next page has the same recording, but now they must write a number sentence to match. The third step is recording their results, and filling in number bonds. The last step is for the students to record results, fill in number bonds, then fill in the part-to-whole and whole-to-part boxes. In my classroom, I keep this one center rotating in for over a month!
You can also use this activity as a whole group one as well!
Depending on your students' abilities, you choose the number that each child will work with. The differentiation is nice for those that are high as well as on the lower end.
I've included pages with directions printed directly on them, and pages without. You get to choose!
