This is a great center activity for calculating totals and change. I used the first part for my students who were prepared to subtract across zeros using decimals. The second part was for my lower students who were working on adding decimals with regrouping.
For the first part, students must calculate the total spent in the bag, then they must find the amount of change from a $20 bill. For the second part, students simply calculate the total in the bag. For both parts they then match the bag to the answer.
Note, the amounts on the bags are the same. The only difference is the answers they match to.
