If your students need a little help with counting, try these Touch Counting Posters! Touch counting is a simple way for students to learn to count and add. I remember learning myself and still use it (sometimes) to this day!
Students simply count the circles on the numbers. Single circles are counted once and double circles are counted twice. For instance, the number 3 has three single circles so the student will count each circle once for a total of three. The number 6 has double circles that will need to be counted twice.
-Touch math posters for the numbers 1-10 - HALF page
-Touch math posters for the numbers 1-10 - WHOLE page
-2 touch counting booklets: one where students simply draw the dots on the numbers to match and one where students will write the number and draw the dots to match. You can always extend by having students draw pictures to match the number around in the empty spaces.
