Touch Math Bump (Addition) is a HUGE hit in my classroom. Many of my students struggle with addition, but when they learned about touch points, they were off and running. These cards are intended to reinforce the touch point skills while having fun.
- Addition facts 1-9
- 80 cards
- Game format
In my classroom I laminate all of my cards. I use my cards two different ways. One way is to play it as a game. I stack all of the cards into one pile and each student takes a turn answering the problem. I encourage other students to help if they are struggling. After they answer the problem they keep the card. As the students go around, they eventually run into a "bump" card. When they get a bump, they have to put all of their cards back into the stack. It is an endless game and I promise you that your students will love it. I also allow my students to use them as flashcards. They can give their answer orally or if they are doing independent work, I'll have them write their answer on the card itself.
Please let me know if you have any questions!! I would be happy to answer :)
