Product Description
Celebrate the great rivalries of football and give students the practice they need at evaluating polynomials and coordinate graphing with this Math-Then-Graph Activity.

Students are given a number of coordinate points to graph. Some of the points are written in function notation (i.e. f(-3) = _____ ). Students use a polynomial bank to evaluate the specific functions and reveal the corresponding coordinate point. Then the students plot and connect the points only within the designated zones.

When the students are finished, they have a football helmet ready for them to draw the logo, icon or letter of their favorite football team.

Here are some tips:
[1] All points will be on one grid line or another.
[2] A completed picture has been provided to be used as a key.
[4] I have also found that printing graph paper directly from themathworksheetsite.com
helps out, but any graph paper will do.
[5] Remember to copy double-sided when necessary to save paper
