Students will have the chance to explain what they learned from the novel "Touching Spirit Bear".
Each project has an element of creation, which the student will have to create a project that represents the student's life. A rubric is attached for grading purposes.
Students should show understanding of their own growth through the creation of the project, similar to Cole's understanding of himself through the course of the novel.
Through the use of this assessment, students will have an alternate way of expressing their understanding of the novel besides the typical "tests/quizzes".
