Practice letter recognition with the addictive power of fidget spinners! Students will love the opportunity to take these toys out in class, and will then forget all about them as they try to challenge themselves to name as many letters as possible before the fidget spinner stops.
This resource includes 2 different game boards for practicing letter recognition for pre-readers in French. This is a perfect resource for use throughout Kindergarten (a quiet activity for fast finishers!), review at the end of the year, or as an instructional tool for struggling students in grade 1.
You can print and use this activity as-is, or you can put in a clear page-protector and let students use a dry-erase marker to record their number of letters named. My students love doing these worksheets in partners or small groups (since not everyone has a fidget spinner), and they take turns naming the letters. They are always eager to read the page over and over, trying to beat their record!
