In this activity, students track their actions for 24 hours. They then come up with the fractional part of their day for each action. This information is then used to make a pie/circle graph.
This activity involves developing fractions, putting fractions in lowest terms, adding fractions (to check your fraction total for the day to be 24/24), and graphing. There are many lessons that can branch off of this activity.
