Have students track their own mastery of the standards. Students should have an understanding of what they're working towards and their progress to those goals. This chart will help them to do that. The boxes are big enough for students to write "I can" statements in them. Students should write the start, middle, and end dates for each standard in the remaining boxes. These can be printed front to back. By the end of the year, students will have a portfolio of these sheets. They should also keep work samples to prove their mastery. These are great for conferences.
