“Tracking My Writing” Clip Chart Station (Detective Theme Writing Process Student Interactive Posters)
Students and teachers will use this fun detective theme tracking chart to keep track of where everyone is in the writing process. Each resource poster has a brief description of the step, along with visuals for young writers.
1.Copy on card stock and laminate all pieces.
2.Hang posters column style or side-by-side in your writing station. Attach together using metal rings, clips, ribbon, or hot glue to wall.
3.Then, write each student’s name on a magnifying glass, cut out, and hot glue to a clothespin.
4.Students will move their clip to the correct posters during your writing project after teacher approves.
