Tracking my GPA Graph

A graph students fill out to track their GPA throughout the year. It is designed to be used repeatedly throughout the year, and comes with an accompanying lesson plan!

I created the “Tracking my GPA” graph in response to a particularly tricky 6th grade AVID class I had one year. It was clear to me that my students were struggling to see their own progress with grades, and it was starting to affect their confidence in themselves. I wanted something that would be motivating for them and to make their progress transparent. The “GPA Tracking” graph is meant to help raise self-awareness for students so they can then do something about it.

While I’ve primarily used these resources for 6th graders, it can be used with secondary students of all ages!
