Great way to get kids to make "study helps" or to introduce each other. (I had a group make self-cards that they traded with classmates. They loved it!) We have also had kids create cards about each of the 50 states to share with each other. You could also do the Presidents, etc. The ideas are endless. Use the data file to input the information to be populated into the Trading Cards.
The preview shows the completed "cards." I chose several different topics to help you get ideas on how to use these with students. Of course, you may also create cards yourself to give students. The thumbnails shows a lower resolution of the completed cards. There are 4 cards to a sheet of paper. After printing, you cut them apart.
There are files, sample files to "play" with and directions along with a pdf of a graphic organizer so that students are ready to input their information.
These are Microsoft Word files as templates. Made with Microsoft Office 2008 on a Mac and are compatible with Microsoft Office 97-2004. This includes various files to help ensure the success of using these files with students. You should know something about Mail Merge or be willing to try to use these.
Please, if you share with a grade level unit. Share this link instead of the download. I only charge $1.00 to make it affordable to all.
