This is a fun way for students to share their culture when studying about long ago and now. I have included this project as part of an ancestor unit for many years, and families have loved it every time. I even had one parent bring a crepe maker on the day of the tasting party one year to make fresh strawberry crepes for the kids. It is a good way to get children to try new foods. I do not make them eat something that they do not want to, but I highly encourage them to be brave and try as many new things as possible.
