This product includes bright and attractive alphabet cards to be attached to each student's desk as a reference for letter recognition, handwriting practice, help with reversals, or support with alphabetical order. The background color is an aquamarine/denim color with ribbon trim and outline in similar shades of the same color. The letters are in an assortment of bold, bright, "almost"neon colors of hot pink, deep purple, electric blue, lime green, lemon yellow, cherry red, and hot orange. When printed and cut out, the cards should be approximately 3 and 1/2 inches by 9 and 1/2 inches. The design and colors are attractive, but fairly simple, as I felt it was important not to add clipart that might "clutter" the space for an emergent writer new to alphabet principles.
There are two patterns included to choose from- one using a 'circle and stick" font (Dotum) and one using a manuscript font (DNealie by Hello Fonts here on TPT!) so you can choose the type of handwriting used in your school district.
Another great use for these alphabet cards is to laminate them after attaching them to cardstock, & use them during guided reading or any small group literacy instruction. If laminated, dry erase markers can be used and reused on the alphabet card to circle, highlight, and identify various letters.
Although I have lots of experience in curriculum design, I am a comparatively "newbie techie" and therefore constantly worried that my work will print differently for my customers than it did for me, and I really want to provide quality products with which you are pleased. So...if these cards don't look the way you expected after purchasing them, PLEASE contact me and I'll try to correct the error for free in order to learn from my errors and, more importantly, so you are happy with the product. Thanks and have fun decorating your desks with these cards!
