There are 2 sets of lowercase alphabet flashcards in this product- one in the “traditional print” font ABCPrint. The other set is a “fancy” serif font called Georgia, which is more like what students might see in some children’s book or on assessments like AIMSweb.
I use these not only to reinforce the difference between easily confused lowercase letters such as b, d, p, and q, but also to show students that letters like a and g can look very different but still be the same letter. I found that my ELL students had an especially hard time grasping the concept, and needed lots of practice.
I hope you enjoy these, and that you can use your imagination to find many different uses for these cute flashcards!
