With the price of gasoline rising, sitting in traffic is taking a large amount of money out of a family’s budget. This activity will try to answer the question of shrinking $ in your pocket. Topics that are included in this activity are graphing points, calculating a linear equation of best fit, and making a future projection for your costs of gasoline while being stuck in traffic.
There are 7 pages and 4 questions to be answered. A spreadsheet software or graphing calculator may be used. An answer guide is provided.
