Product Description
What was it like to be a Cherokee during the Trail of Tears? Your students will take on the role of a young member of the Cherokee tribe before, during, and after the tribe was removed from their homeland.

Students will love using technology for this webquest journaling lesson!

Students will be directed to websites, and then asked to respond to a prompt for writing 3 journal entries. They will discuss what it was like in living in Georgia prior to removal, how tribe members reacted to a treaty signed giving away their land, and what it was like along the Trail of Tears. The lesson concludes with a letter that discusses how their life was changed by the events.

Thanks for stopping by!

I would love to hear from you when you get a moment!
