Students will be directed to websites, and then asked to respond to a prompt for writing 3 journal entries. They will discuss what it was like in living in Georgia prior to removal, how tribe members reacted to a treaty signed giving away their land, and what it was like along the Trail of Tears. The lesson concludes with a letter that discusses how their life was changed by the events.
