This is a page-long outline I use to guide and supplement my introductory lecture introducing Romantic literature and the American Transcendental movement. Notes include a brief historical perspective and a further elaboration on Romantic and Transcendental philosophy.
The 15 question test attached directly refers to the lecture notes. The test is multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Students are required to know facts presented in lecture, pinpoint major romantic writers and identify significant quotes from "Nature," "Self Reliance," Walden, and "Song of Myself."
