Product Description
Students will learn all about the importance of May 10, 1869, when a golden spike was driven into spot where both tracks met. That meant travel from the east Coast to the West Coast would take less than ten days!

Students will learn wonderful details of that important part of our history and journal their thoughts and ideas. They will also learn what it is like to do Morse Code and they will learn to write their own name in Morse Code.

A Lapbook is a hands-on method for students to visually learn about the subject material being taught. A Lapbook highlights the study. The Lapbook can be held in the student’s lap, so…that’s how we got the name Lapbook!
