This worksheet acts as a great review for both transcription and translation in high school biology class. I find my students need a simple, straightforward way to distinguish between the two processes. When they actually create the mRNA code from the DNA code and create the protein from the mRNA code themselves, they often better understand how genetic information is used. This worksheet can act as a sub plan if the students have already been taught the material needed to complete it.
