Description
Engage students in math with this simple Geometry game - Transformation BINGO! Perfect when introducing rotations, reflections and translations or as ongoing revision game - just like my students, your students will be begging to play this game daily! The editable PowerPoint and cards allow you to play this game on a class level, in groups or pairs!
I play this game at the start of each math lesson during my geometry unit of work. My upper elementary students love tallying their wins on the board for an overall winner at the end of the week!
How to Play:
Players receive a bingo board, each filled with a different transformation: rotation, reflection, or translation. If they have a blank board, they must fill it at random with an equal amount of each transformation, leaving one square as a free space.
The teacher will take turns selecting players to draw from a hat or display a transformation on the board using the editable PowerPoint. After identifying the transformation, players will cover or cross off ONE square that matches.
The first player to cross off or cover four or five transformations (depending on the board chosen) in a row—vertically, horizontally, or diagonally—wins!
What's Included:
- How to Play Instructions
- 20 4x4 BINGO Playing Boards
- 20 5x5 BINGO Playing Boards
- Blank Playing Boards
- Editable Transformation PowerPoint with over 60 slides
- Over 70 Transformation Playing Cards
- AND a variety of Transformation Reference Posters
This resource has been included in both color and black and white.
