This is a task rotation consisting of 4 stations, each focusing on a different learning style and activity. Each station allows the students to apply their knowledge of transformations and to discover new concepts. This serves as a great review activity or each activity can be used separately as supplemental material.
Station 1: Students will practice NYS math assessment questions.
Station 2: Students will work with a partner to apply "secret" transformations
Station 3: Students will come up with the "rules" for transformations
Station 4: Students will use Geometer's sketchpad to perform transformations to their name
