Engaging lesson that gives students something to do as you teach! Answer Key included. Aligned with Alberta Math 30-1 Curriculum and Common Core Curriculum.
This lesson teaches students how to identify and apply horizontal and vertical translations to various kinds of functions.
When using this resource, it's helpful to have a copy of the notes printed out for the students so they can fill in their work as they progress through the lesson. Any sections highlighted in green text indicate a portion of the lesson where the students do some work. I have found it very successful to get the students to do these problems up at the board as much as possible.
Files included in this purchase:
- Fillable notes to handout to your students so they can follow along with your lesson
- An answer key for the notes
- A quiz to use either at the end of class or beginning of the next period
- An answer key for the quiz.
I value transparency and so the preview file shows everything you get with this purchase. No need to feel worried about what you may or may not be buying. Feel free to take a look before committing to a purchase.
