Here's an interactive notes packet that students fill out with you while coloring, sketching, solving and plotting. As the teacher, you walk them through the conceptual understanding of different transformations with visual tricks instead of drilling formulas. Students are more engaged in taking these notes because of opportunities to color code, sketch, and doodle. The answer key is provided to show you how I teach it to my class, but you have the freedom to adapt it to your needs. For example, I teach reflection over y = x and y = -x lines with a diagonal counting method and have students derive the formulas from the visuals, you can choose to give them the formula and then create the visual - your choice! Students love this booklet because it's "cute" and they can keep it as a reference in their bookbags all year long. I hope your students and you love this resource!
